We prefer slack for communication, we also have a whatsapp group chat so that it is easier for us to communicate with each other.

                                                               Safe Water Network

We chose the Safe Water Network because it’s important that people in countries that lack water sustainability be able to manage and preserve its water through our support by raising awareness on the issue. Water carries a lot of bacteria which can cause people to be sick, and the Safe Water Network provides these people with fresh, safe water from a reliable source. The Safe Water Network provides a much more permanent solution to water problems all around the world.

The Safe Water Network is a non profit organization that makes a lot of donations and a lot of charity worldwide to be able to help water crises in places of need. They work in impoverished places like Ghana, and India that lack water. They have helped 1.7 million people while reaching 489 communities through field implementation. They help customers learn how to use and understand the software that the company is selling to the people. This helps improve access to safe water.

The way the Safe Water Network works is they put the water in the container and the container can keep it clean and fresh for generations. They work with companies and governments to make this process easier. The Safe Water Network goes into a community and builds capacity so that its water investments last and can help sustain the people for long periods of time. Even though this model takes longer to execute than building a well, it is much more profitable and sustainable. Helping people get access to water is really important to us because water is a basic necessity that everyone should have access to.

Our group hasn’t fully figured out where we’re going with this project. We are still figuring out exactly what we want to focus on and put on our project.
